Mable Lee Walton House Sisterhood Weekend

We are so excited to invite you all to the North Jersey Alumnae Chapter’s first ever sisterhood weekend at Sigma Sigma Sigma National Headquarters – Mable Lee Walton House!  We have the house reserved from Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 8.

Whether you’ve been to Mable Lee Walton House in the past or have always wanted to visit, this will be a fantastic opportunity to stay in Tri Sigma’s “Heart Home” and spend quality time with your sisters. We plan to have lots of fun activities in the house and around Woodstock, and will also be installing our next officers.  We really hope you will join us for what promises to be a wonderful weekend of sisterhood.

We will be arranging carpooling down to Woodstock, VA on Friday – we will likely have a group leaving in the afternoon and one in the evening. Please let us know when you RSVP whether you are open to driving and what time you would be able to leave.

The fee to attend will be $40 per person which will cover  the $20 per person linen fee + $20 towards our food shopping trip. The Chapter will cover other house reservation costs.

Check out this great list that National posted about things to do in the Woodstock area.

Please RSVP on our Facebook invite or by email.  Once you register, you will be added to our mailing list to discuss planning for the weekend.  We hope you can join us!

NYC Holiday Shopping & Sightseeing Trip

We are once again taking a trip into New York City for some holiday sightseeing and shopping! We held this event a few years ago (check out pictures here) and it was a great time. We ate at Celsius in Bryant Park, shopped at the Bryant Park holiday fair, saw the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and had some fun in FAO Schwarz.

We plan to carpool from North Jersey at around 12:00, or if it’s more convenient, you can meet us in the city at around 2:00. Once we have a headcount we’ll set up carpooling and public transportation logistics. Hope you can join us!

Holiday Party Invitation & Adopt-a-Family Details

Please join us for one of our most popular events of the year – our annual Holiday Party! This year it will be held on Saturday, December 6 at Michelle’s home in Carteret.

Our family this year is a 24-year old single mom with three kids who is struggling to make ends meet. Their gift requests are below. Please bring any gift wrapping supplies (e.g. wrapping paper, gift bags, tape) that you would like to contribute. We will wrap the gifts together at the party, but we promise that it won’t be all work and no fun!
